Foyle Melton Mowbray Carcass Competition 2022

The Annual Carcass Competition held at Foyle Melton Mowbray was a great success with many excellent quality cattle being entered!

Commercial Carcass Competition Winner

Congratulations to Wendy Pickard who won a very close competition just sneaking into first place in front of her husband Rob Davies. Mr Gordon Amos rounded out the top 3 with 4 excellent cattle.

Angus Carcass Competition Winner

The Angus competition had over 32 cattle entered into this years Carcase Competition with Mr Francis Gent winning this year’s competition, making it two wins in a row! Andrew Curtis came in second place and Mr Sherratt came in 3rd place in the highly contested competition.

Foyle Food Group would like to extend congratulations to all prize-winners and thanks to all producers who entered this year’s competition.
