Melton Grazing Trial 2022
Our Melton Grazing Trial is well underway. There are 48 Hereford and Angus dairy crosses which were turned out on the 1 May. Their average weight before turnout was 321kg at an average age of 12 months. After the first month of being turned out, the group made good DLWG with the group average being 0.94kg/day and average weight being 354kg.

Angus Carcass Competition Winner The Angus competition had over 32 cattle entered into this years Carcase Competition with Mr Francis Gent winning this year’s competition, making it two wins in a row! Andrew Curtis came in second place and Mr Sherratt came in 3rd place in the highly contested competition.
